The brief
Our clients approached us requesting a clean, modern, single-storey design, they were keen on creating a contemporary living space that would cater to their love for entertaining guests. With frequent visits from their children and grandchildren, it was essential to design a home that offered ample space and comfort, including special areas for their dog and an occasional visiting dog.
They envisioned a home filled with natural light and strategic windows capturing picturesque outdoor views. An avid gardener, and a Porsche enthusiast, sought innovative design solutions like a dedicated spot for their third car, spacious living areas to create a relaxed, functional, and stylish space that perfectly blends their love for the outdoors and entertaining.

We overcame existing site challenges and maximised natural light with a raked ceiling running the length of the home, enhanced by clerestory windows. The rear of the home opens into a spacious living and dining area that seamlessly connects to a meticulously landscaped backyard and a plunge pool, creating an ideal space for both relaxation and entertaining. This thoughtfully designed home ensures our clients can enjoy their downsized living space without compromising on comfort or style, making it perfect for hosting visiting family while providing provisions for aging in place. |
