The brief

This project was shaped around creating a contemporary, low‑maintenance downsizer home that supports comfortable everyday living and long‑term ease of use. The brief prioritised single‑level living, generous natural light and clear zoning between shared and private spaces, allowing the home to adapt gracefully over time. A strong connection to garden outlooks and a calm, uncluttered interior language were central to the vision.

Our approach

Our design responds with a composed single‑level form that maximises natural light through orientation and carefully placed glazing. Living zones open directly to outdoor areas, while bedroom accommodation is deliberately separated to enhance privacy and acoustic comfort. A warm, neutral material palette underpins the home’s relaxed character, allowing architecture and landscape to take precedence. The outcome is a quietly sophisticated home that feels effortless to live in.
