This downsizer Dual Occupancy was envisioned as a refined downsizer home that prioritises ease of movement, natural light and spatial clarity. The brief focused on creating a calm, low‑maintenance residence that supports ageing in place without compromising architectural quality. Privacy, efficiency and a restrained material palette were key drivers, ensuring the home feels both practical and quietly sophisticated.

Our approach

Both homes are not adjoined, allowing for separate titles. The design balances carefully articulated massing with thoughtfully positioned openings to capture light and frame outlooks. Internal spaces are clearly zoned to support flexible living while maintaining a strong sense of cohesion. A refined material palette reinforces warmth and longevity, allowing the architecture to age gracefully. These designs are conceived as a quietly confident homes — composed, contextual and enduring.
